Pewter Oval Our Lady of Guadalupe Medal on 18" Chain

1-1/16 x 5/8 inch satin finish pewter oval Our Lady of Guadalupe medal on an 18 inch stainless steel rhodium plated chain. The pendant features a raised image of Our Lady of Guadalupe on the front, who is standing in prayer on a crescent moon with sunbursts behind her. On the top and bottom of the pendant are the words, "Our Lady of Guadalupe Pray For Us". The back of the medal is blank with a brushed finish. Includes an Our Lady of Guadalupe card with her information, and is packaged in a poly bag with medal attached.

Our Lady of Guadalupe, also known as the Virgin of Guadalupe, is a Catholic title of the Blessed Virgin Mary associated with a series of five Marian apparitions (an appearance by the Virgin Mary) that occurred in December of 1531 in Mexico City. She is a powerful symbol of Mexican identity and faith in the church, and her image is associated with everything from motherhood to feminism and social justice.
